Post-Processing Operations

Dragonfly provides a number of options for post-processing images and image stacks. You can automatically align slices and build a consistent stack of images with the Slice Registration tools, precisely combine, or stitch, overlapping 2D or 3D image tiles to create a single high-resolution image with Dragonfly's Image Stitcher, as well as modify 3D volumes by interpolating or removing unrepresentative image slices. In addition, Inpainting can be used to remove small defects within an image or to replace lost or corrupted parts of image data. You can also generate contour meshes that describe the contour around values in a dataset that are above a selected lower threshold.
